I am 10 days in to my first set of trays and I guess I am kind of getting used to them. It is a complete pain having to brush your teeth and clean the trays several times a day but it does have its perks. My breath always smells pretty good! Which to be fair I was worried about as some people do say the trays can make your breath stink a bit but I think if you are on top of brushing your teeth and cleaning the trays after eating it's fine. Plus it's helping me not to snack! I went out to the cinema with friends this week and didn't have any popcorn or sweets during the film because I had just cleaned my teeth! It was hard I'm not going to lie! I have kind of fallen in to a pattern now of brushing my teeth after dinner and then not eating again for the rest of the night to avoud having to do the whole process all over again.

The last couple of days I have had really bad toothache, more so when I have eaten or drank something on my lower right side. I am worried that it's a filling and I will be so annoyed if it is because I only recently had 4! I am hoping it's just sensitivity and a sign of my teeth moving and that it'll pass because it's really quite painful. I am going to have my attachments put on on Tuesday so I will wait until then to see if the pain subsides before saying anything. Sensodyne toothpaste has become my best friend and I can't see myself using anything else during my treatment as everything else seems to be too harsh on my teeth and gums.

I panicked myself earlier on in the week as my sister told me that she had to have her teeth shaved which is a process done to allow crowded teeth space to move in line. I am praying I don't need that because Google has completely freaked me out about it. It's essentially a saw that shaves your teeth off and apparently smells like bones! Gross! Plus it involves an injection according to my sister and I've had enough of them to last me a little while and the whole numb face/ear that accompanies it. I need to stop looking online and reading horror stories about it because at the end of the day if I have to have it then that's that, I'll have to literally grin and bear it!

One thing I have found this week that is not okay when you have Invisalign is getting ill! I have had a sore throat for the last couple of days now and I can't just keep eating throat sweets because I will then need to brush my teeth all over again, so it has been a right pain. Plus that fresh breath I talked about earlier...yeah not so much when you aren't well.
